What is the Comfort Screen?
Better2Know's Comfort Screen is a urine-only test. Our medical team have suggested this screen for WSW or anyone who wants to test for STIs but is afraid of needles. It is also suitable if you have any unusual discharge, itchiness or discomfort in your genital area.

Which STIs are tested for?
Our Comfort Screen tests for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Herpes I/II (Current Infection)
- Ureaplasma
- Mycoplasma
- Trichomonas
- Gardnerella
There are currently no other STIs which can be reliably tested for with urine.
You can add on any other STI tests to this screen at our reduced bolt-on rate.
How do I get my results?
Once all your results are ready, we can contact you by telephone, email or SMS. Alternatively, you can call us at a time that suits you, if you would prefer. Please let our booking team know when you make your appointment.
Your results will also be available in your secure Patient Area online, where you can view them whenever you choose.
What if I test positive?
Do not worry; we are here to help you. If you test positive for any infection, we can arrange a doctor's consultation and access to the appropriate medication to treat the infection.
