What is the Instant Four Screen?
Better2Know’s Instant Four Screen is available across Ireland. This screen combines testing for four STIs and provides results within half an hour. The Instant Four is suitable for people with at least a 28-day period of incubation. This is the time between your last potential exposure and your test.

Which STIs are tested for?
The Instant Four Screen tests for:
- HIV I/II and the p24 antigen
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Syphilis
You can also add tests for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C to this screen, at our reduced bolt-on price.
Which samples are needed?
Better2Know’s Instant Four Screen requires blood and swab samples. The swabs, which test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea, may be uncomfortable but are not painful. The blood sample, used to detect HIV and Syphilis, can be taken from a finger prick lancet, so it is ideal for those who do not like needles.
How do I get my results?
