  • Animal food
  • Insects and venoms
  • Animals
You should take this test if you suspect you may have an allergy to certain substances.

How does the Allergy test work?

The Allergy test uses a blood sample to test against specific allergens. The Allergy test allows you to take a sample of your own blood, which can be sent to Better2Know’s certified laboratory for testing.

How will I receive my test results?

After our lab receives your sample, you will get your results within 4 days. Our Patient Services team will notify you when your results are available. You can also log in to your secure Patient Area to view your results.

What should I do with my results?

If your test results show that you are allergic to particular substances, it is recommended that you book an appointment with a doctor or nutritionist to discuss the results before you make any diet or lifestyle changes. Better2Know can assist you in scheduling an appointment with one of many helpful doctors in your area. During the appointment, the doctor will review your results with you and advise on the appropriate steps to take, including prescribing certain medications that can help with your allergies.

If your order is placed before 4pm on a working day, then it will be sent the same day. Otherwise it will be sent on the next working day.

Q: Why do you need my email address?

Your Patient Services Manager, Louise Wright, will email you your login details to access your results, a confirmation your kit has been dispatched and finally when all your results are ready. We do not sell on or email you any other marketing materials, that is why we do not ask you to opt in or out of anything.

Q: Do I need to use my real name?

No, but the postman does need to know where to deliver the kit to. As long as you use a name that will get the kit to you, then we do not need your real name.

Q: What does the kit packaging look like?

It will arrive in plain white envelope with your typed name and address on it.

Q: What if I have any more questions?
