What is the Tissue Transglutaminase IgA antibody test?

People who possess a genetic predisposition to Coeliac Disease produce antibodies called Tissue Transglutaminase Antibodies (TTAs). When Coeliac Disease causes the body to identify gluten proteins as foreign substances, a response from the immune system is triggered in which antibodies are sent to attack the foreign matter.
